Tilman Stein has more than 25 years experience in ship finance legal work, including high-value transactions, restructurings and enforcement processes.
Tilman worked for Deutsche Bank’s ship finance legal department in Hamburg for more than 25 years, of which he lead the department for 12 years. He was involved in multiple ship finance transactions of all kinds and sizes, as well as in restructuring and enforcement matters. He inter alia conducted the enforcement process in the mega yacht “Golden Odyssey”, which was eventually auctioned for €135mn in Malta. He was also involved in ship finance related regulatory matters stemming from the Capital Requirements Regulation (CRR).
