Anna-Sophie advises clients from the offshore wind and onshore renewable energy industry.
She advises developers, contractors, investors and operators throughout the entire project lifecycle, including on EU tender law, contract negotiation and risk allocation, claims and delays during project execution and dispute resolution. She has over a decade of experience in contract drafting and negotiation for all types of contracts, including EPC(I), transport & installation, operation & maintenance and long term service agreements, as well as charterparties.
Anna-Sophie regularly represents clients in court and arbitration proceedings, including proceedings under GMAA, DIS, ICC and ad hoc arbitration rules, particularly in connection with large-scale offshore and infrastructure projects.
Areas of Practice
Experience
- Advising a market-leading Spanish EPCI contractor vis-á-vis the German grid operators in the successful negotiation and execution of multiple offshore converter platform construction contracts, including ongoing project and claims assistance
- Advising a German offshore services provider during the negotiation and conclusion of a consortium agreement with their JV partner for the joint provision of maintenance works on several offshore converter platforms in the German North Sea
- Representing a UK investor in EPC and supply contract negotiations with a German contractor in relation to the construction of a recycling plant in Scotland
- Representing a consortium of two steel contractors in a multi-party DIS arbitration regarding defects claims under an EPCI contract for foundations of an offshore wind farm
- Drafting and negotiating EPC and supply contracts as well as general terms and conditions for a UK investor building several data centers in Germany
- Advising a T&I contractor with regard to delay and defect claims relating to the installation of foundations of a Taiwanese wind farm project
- Representing a cable manufacturer in a GMAA arbitration against a subcontractor relating to payment and defect claims under a grid connection cable laying contract
- Drafting and negotiating BIMCO Supplytime and Windtime charterparties for the provision of offshore service and jack-up vessels for several German offshore wind farm developers and vessel owners
- Representing the EPCI contractor for an offshore converter platform in ICC arbitration proceedings against a subcontractor in a dispute concerning defect and delay claims
- Advising a UK developer on the drafting of EPC contract forms for a rooftop solar energy project
